Haydar Acun, CEO & Chairman of the Board
Haydar Acun worked for Global Securities between 1993 and 1995 as an equity analyst. In 1995, he moved to London to work for Schroders Securities to cover Turkish desk, as part of its emerging markets group, where he was ranked as the best Turkish analyst by Extel. He was employed by CAIB (investment bank of Bank of Austria) in 1998 to start its Turkish operations in London and moved back to Istanbul to open a rep office in 2000. He was responsible for institutional research and sales at Gedik Securities prior to running Sardis Securities between 2006 and 2014. He is a graduate of University of Istanbul, Faculty of Business Administration.
Niels Elgaard Larsen, Board Member | Non-executive
Niels Elgaard Larsen has a wide range of academic experience, teaching computer sciences at the University of Copenhagen and the University of Sydney. He provided consultancy services on programming and financial systems and served as Chairman and board member of various companies including Gardlauget Strandengen, Andelsboligforeningen, IT-POL and Media Frontiers ApS. Niels Elgaard Larsen has a double major in computer science and physics and a PhD from University of Copenhagen.
Mustafa Kadız, Board Member
Mustafa Kadız worked for Gedik Securities and Gedik Investment Trust between 1996-2003, in charge of accounting and financial management. Between 2003-2009 he was appointed as the director of the internal compliance in the same company. He continued his career as a portfolio manager and fund board member in Sardis Securities between 2012-2014. Following the sale of Sardis Securities, he continued to work as an internal compliance manager at Alnus Securities. Mustafa Kadız is responsible from accounting and operations at Marmara Capital since 2016. Mustafa Kadız has capital market advance level license, capital market corporate governance principles license, futures and bond market representative license. He is a graduate of Eskisehir Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics.
